About the Role:

 

  • Role Type: Part-time to Full-time

  • Location: Naperville Illinois

  • Start Date: Fall 2023

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with our leadership team to understand partner district needs, building lasting relationships with school leadership, staff, students, and families.

  • Provide excellent care, including mental health assessments and teletherapy, to K-12 students in Lakefront Health’s partner school districts.

  • Manage and lead a dedicated team of therapists and care coordinators, ensuring exceptional care delivery to students and seamless collaboration with Lakefront Health.

  • Oversee case assignment, facilitate clinical group supervision, and provide case consultations to our clinicians and school-based staff.

  • Lead district leadership meetings to address mental health needs and enhance the broader mental health program.

  • Promote a culture of collaboration within your team and Lakefront Health.

  • Contribute to clinician recruitment efforts and provide evidence-based therapy to a moderate caseload of students.

 

Qualifications & Capabilities:

  • Experienced in working with kids and teens in an Illinois school setting.

  • Skilled in managing teams of clinicians or school staff, including direct supervision or project management.

  • Holds an active, independent license in Illinois to deliver mental health care (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or PhD/PsyD).

  • Excited to collaborate within a small, entrepreneurial team to shape a new program.

  • Possesses excellent organization, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Enthusiastic about working with schools on mental health issues.

  • Preferred: Fluency in other languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese)
