Mental Health Professionals

Kate Culen, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been in the field for 25 years. I am a graduate of Ball State University and earned my Masters Degree at UIC.
My true passion is working with people having trouble navigating life’s obstacles. My practice is focused on providing individuals a safe and supportive place where they can be comfortable and can be themselves. I help individuals navigate anxiety, depression, relationships, recovery, and job performance issues.
One of my favorite groups of people to work with are young adults. I help this age group manage the anxiety of keeping up with school, relationships, interacting with social media and getting ready for college. As a former high school athletic coach, I work with student athletes all the time, helping them with performance issues, anxiety, and proper mindset. I also enjoy working with new graduates as they navigate their career and life choices.
Outside of work I enjoy volunteering at DuPage Pads, spending time outdoors with my two dogs and creating charcuterie boards. My family and I live in the western suburbs.
